Elizabeth- Sign em'up !!! They will love it. Tried to email, but was returned. See you next summer at the 25th reunion !!!
We have a timer. Its "Paul" from Canada. Never met, but is super cool and capable.
Ethan's father, Paul was in terrible accident around June 10th. Was putting a car tire on a motorcycle rim and it blew up and hit him in the head. He had emergency brain surgery that night and has been heavily sedated (spelling?) since then. the swelling is coming down in his brain, and Ethan said he sang a whole Eagle's song yesterday. He will have a long road ahead and it sucks very bad. Say a prayer. I did not want to invade their privacy by posting this earlier as Ethan did not want to talk much about it and I tried to respect them. Its going to be a long haul, but he will get better for sure !!!!!
Here is the list of paid racers.
Cat (paid last year) Luke Melo Rob Degenhart Tom Manglesdorf Katie Manglesdorf Danilo Perich Julie Boulanger Larry Scalzo Louis Ricard Mig Earl Cephas Anthony Yacobelli Mike Ohm and twin Gib Lewis Zack Levitt Eddie Martinez Chad Hegrety Claude Lynn Kramer Brett Martin Steve Lavin Jonathan Harms Jason Schwippirt Noah Paul Graff Civ Richie Ryan Smith Jeff Kasson Norski Fadell Bara Ethan Ja me Roh Marty Pirnack Fitzpatrick Lisa Melo Michael Gamache Chet Fur trapper Brian Parsons Chris Barett Karl George Pappas Zak Maytum

Expenses for the Buckeye are paid, except Pro Purse of $1,800

We have 43 paying racers for the Buckeye, including Ohm who paid twice. We need 18 more paying racers to make enough $$$ for the pro purse. I think we'll get there or close.
Thanks everyone for coughing it up. The weather has been epic this summer, with only 4 rain days since May 1st, and only about 6 days above 90 degrees. Man, I hope it holds out.
Thanks again !!!

Missed you at Hood but I know the deal(aside from the foot), sorta kinda the same but different with me(except for no foot issue) and racing outside my area this year.
The foot looks saaaa-weeet! Personally I think you did the smart thing cracking open your cast, swelling in a confined space is very bad. Glad things are working out well for the Buckeye and things otherwise.
I guess I missed the boat the news about Ethan, his Dad and anyone else involved,.... Car wreck??? I sincerely hope for the best, other than that I don't want to be stir the waters so I'll just stay tuned here at the Gong.

HI Kenny, Whitefish Bay again. Sorry to read about your "injury!" Looks nasty and I may be sorry to ask the next question. Does anyone know anything about the 4seasons skatepark in downtown Milwuakee? They offer skate camp/lessons and I thought Leithen and Madeline would like to give it a whirl. If anyone has in info. I'd love to know. thanks, Elizabeth

Congrats Kelly Lynn on the Kona win !!! Wish I could have been there and probably would have if you know what did not happen.
My leg swelled up this weekend due to the normal summer heat. It was in the 90's yesterday and I was working hard on appraisals in the morning and then painting the ramps in the afternoon. The cast was constricting my leg and foot so much, not even the percs, beer, anti-itching medicine and others would help. I woke up at 1:00 am, freaking out pretty bad and trying to remain calm. I am thinking about the next two weeks, getting all my work done and working on the buckeye.
I headed strait for the garage to do some of my work. I took my healing into my own hands. I feel bad for going against doctor's orders, but I needed the hole to scratch my inside ankle and about 1/4" of room along the lower leg.

Cat,
I have not heard anything. I have called Ethan's mom. Ethan is not saying much. I think his brain is still swollen and he's not doing much. We have all been praying, but not much info. Marion Karr talked to Marcee, Ethan's mom.
I am 32 days out, with another 88 to go. I hate to do this, but here it is. This is this morning, before they took my stitches out.

Ryder and friends in the hood last night.

Hey Kenny, some woman pranked me on the phone last night with your number. She was trying to tell me about all of the college girls that will be spectating the event due to the hundreds of flyers that were SPECIFICALLY posted on all of the girl's dorm rooms. Nice job....can't wait. Oh yea the race should be fun too.
