I did a quick trawl, youe prices are pretty good Sam. Similar price from Stanstead, but I did see the VLM flights from London City arnt bad at £114, as travel to and from the airport costs less. £114select VLM Airlines LCY 19:25 AMS 17:55 AMS 21:45 LCY 18:20 (1h 20m)0 (1h 25m)0 vlm-airlines.com: £114 £114select VLM Airlines LCY 20:00 AMS 17:55 AMS 22:30 LCY 18:20 (1h 30m)0 (1h 25m)0

Looking at logistics for the Dutch race.

The total cost of this Easyjet flight is £75.33 without the travel insurance. Can anyone find anything cheaper around similar times for the Race in Amsterdam?

Well I can just see it now, the only Viking ever to go pillaging wearing a pair of comedy breasts brandishing a nodding bulldog in an aggressive manner - how Hannover would quake in its boots!

A big thanks to all the Paris crew for a great weekends racing. Here are some of my observations and what needs doing for next year----- * Get fitter so I can take more practice runs so I can burn the course into my brain- Louis never seemed to tire! * Lose some weight so I can be mistaken for a Swede in my tight Lycra tee shirt- dammn you Antonio! * Take a net and a cage to lock up the lovable lunatic Pelle so we stand some sort of a chance in the AM's. He really does make a race, we all loved his humour and good nature * Learn to speak French so we could get a hotdog earlier. * Take more suntan lotion * Have at least three pairs of Vans- the footbraking was mental! * Take a gazebo to protect our delicate English hide from the sun * Take a bottle of disinfectant to every race to combat the smell of the Al Fresco toilet just below where we sat around waiting to race * Take more memory cards to snap more pics of the beautiful Parisien women * Avoid Louis Vuiton * Avoid taking your wife-only joking honey! * Have grippier griptape so you foot doesnt slide of at a crucial moment To name but a few. Seriously though loved the company of the very supportive British Team and the wackiness of the Euros. Anyone who didnt come please consider next year now. Its bloody unmissable. Vive la slalom!

A big thanks to Jani and his crew for a great long weekends racing at the sun drenched Trocadero. I look forward to returning next year to collect the bits of me that I left on the slopes.
My hip now resembles something altogether “Turneresque”, different shades of blue, purple, red and yellow, it wouldn’t look out of place hanging on the walls of The Tate! However in the body wound art competition Chris “atlas-back” Hart beat me hands down with a perfectly formed map of Africa on his right shoulder as well as a host of other scrapes and grazes – wishing you a speedy recovery Chris. I must, in an Oscar acceptance speech stylee, give thanks to the Boneless pads that saved my knee’s on no less than four separate occasions, not forgetting the TSG wrists guards, without which, I would definitely be typing this one handed!
On the new product front I can’t recommend the new Black Ops formula Hot spots enough, they’re *%£$* hot! I’m sure I speak for all of us that rode them over the weekend, awesome colours too! I’ll be at HP on Thursday if anyone wants to try them out.
Bish once again your superb lensmanship captured the atmosphere of the weekend brilliantly. I’m just tweaking my photos at the moment then I’ll post up the link.
Bring on NASS!!

...was the most impressive Brit of the weekend, consistently qualifying high in the Ams and continued to practise the course until the cone layout was etched into his DNA. This was reflected by his strong performance and many clean runs.
Bish was also hugely competitive, qualifying well in both the straight and tight before retail yang requested a balance to his skating ying. It took me two years to make the qualifying round in Paris, godammit!
Rob gave Chris Hart a run for his money on the injury front, however unlike the Swiss Airflow star, the Englishman stoically continued despite the bangs and abrasions and bravely staved off the pain twinges with regular injections of 1664.
The Pros Paul and Michael gave ther 'fit young things' a good show for their money, especially as Team Sweden seem to be in training overdrive so as to be well refelected at the Gothenburg Worlds. Nevertheless, Kowalski, Ramon and Janis still seems to be the indomitable force when it comes to TS.
A blistering Parisien weekend!

It should be mandatory for everyone to attend this event, even if it is not perfect roads etc (hopefully they are if Paul checked them). This is how you get to grow. Invite sponsors along to show their stuff, probably not allowed to sell.
For this you will need stuff for the crowd. PA Timing display boards Commentator
We did this once at Eastbourne and it held the crowd better than anything else, mind you it was the hottest day.
You should also do demos and intro sessions (maybe -- insurance permitted).
I know I go on about this but I am sure you will need risk assessments.
Lets make the most and everyone, and I mean everyone, chip in to help.
If enough families my kids can do 6ft now for an event.
