Just looking out for some flat skaters in the Denver area. Just started skating after 5 years, so getting to skate with some others who are more in their prime would be cool. Sup Lynn.

The Inglewood games was a blast! Big props to all the sk8kings family that showed and killed it! Kirby Cox tore up everything from ramps to park to Freestyle and slalom, showing why he is overall skater! Mike Mullen took some time from doing pushups to get out there and bust out some hard tricks! Maria ,Adam,Julie, MSK, and even Floyd were out there in the 100 degree heat! We even set up slalom cones. If you get a chance to go to one of these events it is what skating is all about! Giving back to the kids! thanks Bob Staton !

Still think Daniel shoulda claimed first :) - Thanks again,

I very happy to find this site. I am looking for wheels similar to the old Vision Freestyles. Does anyone know where I can get something comparable to them. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry -- It's supposed to rain all afternoon so we've decided to call it off this time and reschedule.
We'll miss everyone but don't worry. New date just around the corner. March is kind of crazy for SK8KINGS but we'll be at the Inglewood Games (in Inglewood CA -- LA County) on April 12 so will plan to Jam there instead. Come one come all. All the details coming very soon.
We'll take the Jam to Inglewood and still do all the things we had planned for the Jam. There will be lots to do and a great crowd so plan to join us if you can.

To Whom It May Concern, I wish people would get the records and the history straight. My brother Bruce won all the freestyle and many other events at the first skateboard contests ever held at Pier Ave. Junior High. Squeeek Blank never won or even to my re-collection he ever entered a contest there. The contests there were put on as part of the annual Hermosa Beach Surf Festival. We grew up in Hermosa and went to Pier Ave. school everyday to skate at the tennis courts. There were 4 events held there each year, Freestyle, down hill salom, flat land salom and a kick turn contest, which no ever beat Bruce in the kick turn event an by the way there were 3 years on contests at Pier Ave. 1963 to 1965. I wish people would get the facts straight about the early days of skateboarding. There is so much missing from those early years people just dont know. I am working on a book that will tell it like it was right into and through the 70's. I just had to write you after reading some of your information on that era...............Brian Logan
