Kenny,
Lets set up some time to slalom on the hill soon. I want to try a few boards and see what I got myself into when I signed up for the Open.
If this Sunday, the 10th, looks good, let me know. I am supposed to be out of town but can come back Saturday night if Sunday AM works. Otherwise you let me know your schedule and I will make it.
Let me know. Either via email above or on my cell 614.403.9405.

"4-year-old daughter named after a brand of skateboard trucks"?
Hmmm, I wonder which brand? Indy? Orion? Ruckus? Destructo?
Imagine the conversations in that house:
"Tracker! Stop picking your nose!" "Thunder, eat your peas, or no SpongeBob for you!" "Guess what, Tensor, you're gonna have a baby brother soon! He's gonna be named Grind King!"
I just hope it's not the brand Wax makes nowadays. :-)

The action is heating up at the new park. This is one mile from the Motel 6 where the racers will be staying this summer. Its big, fun and fast.

Jason and Luke,
I lived in Kentucky for 2 years, Martha's Vineyard one summer, Colorado for 7 years, and California for one summer. I always knew I would come home, but I did love my time away. Colorado is much slower than California and I loved it. The traffic in Cally just really stinks. Prices are high, and its very crowded.
My dad always said, "you'll make the choice between people vs. place. Some people need the ocean or the mountains. I want them, but I really need my friends and family. Well, mostly friends.
Ohio rocks for living.

Luke, i totally know what you're goin through man, i'm in the same situation. It's weird how you want to leave ohio so badly for years, and when you finally do it...you just can't stop thinking about going back! the grove city park looks like a good reason to come back too haha, although i'll miss the costa mesa park dearly. see you back in ohio!

Luke the cool thing about all this is that you can allways go home. They say home is where the heart is. That is so true bro. I love my home town dude, there are no skateparks near by which really sucks , we are at least 10 years behind the larger cities. There is only my friend Gumby who rides for Skaterbuilt who I slalom with. We have to travel at least 4 hours to ride with the bulk of our Team. And yet bro this is home and I love it. Subtropical weather, South Padre Island beach is 30 minutes from my house, Mexico is a 20 minute drive. Life is an endless journey and we should appreciate what we have, love our family and friends.
