Nothing really happened to turn me away from socal, it just turned out not to be my ideal place to live. Don't get me wrong, san diego is amazing and I know I'll be back many times to visit, but all my family and friends are back in Ohio as well. I was really in socal for one reason, and that was the skateboard industry...I didn't really have any other reason to be there. And since I decided the skateboard industry wasn't what I wanted to do, its pointless for me to stay. I know there's culinary schools in socal, but I'd much rather go to school back home with my family and friends.

Well I'm making the trek back to columbus at the end of the month. Call me a pussy, call me a coward, call me whatever you want, but I'm doing it. I've learned a lot about myself in such a short period of time, and I just can't see myself having a life out here in SoCal. San Diego is a sweet place and fun to visit, but its not the place to live for everyone. The skateboard industry is interesting and I learned a lot, but I can't see myself making a career out of it. I guess I never really knew how cool of a place Columbus really is until I got away from it for a bit. But I'm excited to get back, and once I do I'm starting culinary school. I'll be coming home with a new car('89 Volvo 240) and a tan. Wish me luck on my drive home.

6- McCree made the company spell it "wrong" after they tried to use his company name. I talk to him every once in a while and he seems to be doing great. Making money, boating, partying, and generally enjoying life.
I must say that the weekend in Paris in 2005 ranks up there with my wedding day, Ryder's birth, Deer Creek 1992, and winning La Costa in 2001. Its funny that some of my best days in my life did happen after 30 !!! See Ethan, growing up isn't all bad. You'll be fine.

Guess we'll have to cancel the parade with the float that says "Welcome, World Champion Kenny Mollica." Too bad, it was gonna be good. ;-)
Happy Birthday to Ryder. He's a lucky kid.

Jonathan-
No can do. Its Ryder's B-Day party. Believe me, I wanted to go to Paris that weekend with Robin to say hello to all the Euros and get all romantic. But we are broke right now and are throwing a party on Saturday morning for Ryder's 3rd B-Day. My baby is growing up.
Sunday helping trim the bushes for Mommy. Child-Services poster child. They would lock me up.

Multi-tasking. He shakes the balloon like a dog while riding "the wave".

Last night with fudge bar.

I cannot believe the little freak is only 2 years old. It seems like he's been with Robin and I for a while. He has I guess. We found out Robin was pregnant on September 17, 2003, the day I won the World's on Pacific Street. So to me, he's almost 4 years old. I love that kid.

100 miles--my ass hurts just thinking about it. You're an aminal.
Speaking of hundies, we're doing a dual 100-coner at Slalom St. Louis on Memorial Day weekend. Throw Ethan and James in the Suburban and come on over!
If you don't want to skate, well, we can always use more coneheads... :-)

Cat, Its on. Come on out.
66, you skate the vert so I dont have to.
Martin,
That board was 44", but I cut it down to 41". The trucks were 24" HOLE to HOLE with a Radikal downhill on the front and Randall 170cm (cut down) on the front. The ditch is fun to ride with anywhere from 24" to 30" hole to hole. There were some tight cones (10 feet) so we all shortened the wheelbases this year.
Checked off my first of 10 goals this year. Rode 100 miles on my Bike on Saturday. Left downtown Columbus at 5:15 am and hit the Kentucky border at 11:30 am. I felt like Lance the first 70 miles, then my brain got tired. My legs felt pretty good, but I was holding back for the "big hill" at mile 90, which was really a little hill at mile 65. I could have gone faster, but 9 monthes ago I was on crutches for 8 weeks and went to pot. I was giddy, cruisin' the heartland, all by myself at sunrise. I left 2 hours before the other 5,000 people and did not see a soul for the first 70 miles. It was great and my surgery site of my femur bone felt fine. Now I have serious hamstring/IT Band tightness. I feel pretty good for 42, but nothing like I did at 39. Time waits for no man, and it won't wait for me.
Super busy with work. Stress train just stopped by. Robin too. I will start working on the Buckeye this month. Gesmer, you coming?
