I saw Arab's pics on your site - I personally haven't seen him ride vert lately, but looking at those pics , I remember Arab at that age - doing his - what I'd call ...BEST skating ever - during that time - of what I can remember...back then. He had a smooth style - he could go rad with moves - -but never jerky, or out of control - a 'smooth/rad' - if you will. Arab & Lee Weber used to dominate that SANTANA TEAM SKATEBOARD RAMP. Remember how skaters would add those 'wood extensions' to the banks @ Flower Ditch - for heighth ? All the times I skated there with my brothers, I never saw any cops - or got thrown out! It's wierd now, going to the end of Flower Street, and seeing that 'Wall of China ' type wall they have there now. Alot of GREAT Ditch-Riding Skate memories there! I just really wanna get out there and skate some ditches. My friends and i are also looking for some abandon pools that are good for riding. Any info would be great.
