Top Challenge

Ross... I agree with you that Top Challenge is getting too expensive for most people but the logistics of putting on a race in small town BC and downtown Montréal are totally different. Top Challenge spends more money on insurance than Danger,Sully and MethodX spend on the whole three events put together. I wish the cash purse was higher and I have been diligent in trying to get the race organizers to worry about that. Double the entry fee was justified by double the days the road was closed therefore double the amount of riding.
And Top Challenge is a GSI event and will be for the second year in a row.

Had two of the coolest roomates From the Great White North, Mike ( Does anyone know who I am Cividino )and his young slalom student a kid by the name of Chris Barret, the kid was very fast, he was riding a home made cut out hybrid board, that for all purposes intended was very functional. I offered to send him my old Turner GS Hybrid model, very similar to what he was riding. Keeping the young kids STOKED. That is what it is all about. Why Kebbek has not picked him up? The event will take place at The Sports Village in Vaughan (Rutherford Road, just west of Keele) on Saturday, August 6th between the hours of 1 to 5pm. Todd will attempt to break the record at 3pm.
Prior to his attempt, a number of contests will be taking place including best trick. There will be a number of prizes given away. Spectators are welcome, but if you want to skate, it’s $7.00. Waivers are mandatory and you can download them from www.sportsvillage.ca
