First & foremost, thank you Kenny for putting on an awesome event. That would have been tough for someone with 2 working legs! You are SUPERMAN for sure!
Thanks to Robin, Fifer, Mary Beth, Claude and all the volunteers that worked so hard making it happen.
It was nice to see everyone & finally meet tons of people I have been wanting to meet for a long time.
Thank you Lynn for talking me into the "grudge" (not the proper word) races at the end of the evening. You really pushed me & made me work! You are a hard one to catch!
Here are a BUNCH of pictures to check out.
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a photographer, so they are VERY raw...... but I had a great time taking them.
Kenny---- can I PayPal right now for next years Buckeye 4.0????? Just tell me how much!!

I was hurtin' for sure, but from the wheelchair the Buckeye looked like a blast. Jessie, Emily, Robin, Ethan, James, Bara, my Dad, Marcee & Jen and all the other great volunteers pulled off one hell of an event.
It was a physically super tough weekend for me. I was down with a summer cold, and in that darn chair. I loved watching the racing and being the M.C.
Here is a pic. More later. I am still pooped and its Tuesday.

Yes, many thanks to Kenny & Robin & Jessie for puttin on a great show. I will always find the time to get to the Buckeye. Thanks Nature!
And Noah, that is one GNARLY pic. Sort of like the famous pic of that spanish soldier that caught him in mid air falling just after the bullet struck, here we have BP caught for eternity in the one position every slalom rider does not want to be. That is just wicked!!!

The Buckeye kicked arse. Thanks to Kenny and the whole Ohio clan that made it so much fun. The weather didn't hurt either. Lotsa carnage - more than most races. Some got cuts and bruises, others got concusions and broken bones. But I'm sure all would do it again next weekend if they could. It was great to meet so many new competitors….man, COSS really grows em right! I got a few good pics that I’ll put up as time goes on. Here’s one of cfav on Sunday. (check out Parsons in the white lane about to pitch.)

What a blast I had! - Thanks so much Kenny, for the great weekend and all your work in putting this together! - It was fun hanging with everyone and talking about the old days - The fullbag crew are great skaters and fun people. - Mig is a power house, and Louie a tres, tres bon skater! - it was such a great opportunity to see all the pro's ride - Enjoyed hanging with the Motor City crew - I really appreciated the help, advice and encouragement from everyone - especially Claude - I'm really in it for the carve and fun, not competition - I wish I could skate with the Canadians on their turf - great bunch of people - It is so great to see young skaters enjoying what we enjoyed 30 years ago! - It was great watching Brett, Chad, Martin, Gumby, Tim, Fadell, Chris et all ripping the park. I need to get g-nads to do this again - Loved watching the shocked faces of the cops that the rowdy skateboarders at Motel 666 were over 40 years old - Richie not only is an amazing skater, he makes everything so much more fun - Wouldn't it be fun to get together just to carve some hills, do some freestyle and ride some ditches like we did 30 years ago? Hey, this is getting too long. Thanks for the memories!
