Better Late than Never A shout out to my peeps! Kenny: Thanks for planning the whole trip, no chance of a DVD of Indian School 2007 after that run down 3 mile ditch! Jason: Thanks for driving down to NM with the scamp, you were ripping all week especially in that new park. The Marshall: The host with the most, took us to a few new ditches. Awesome collection of boards and photos, thanks for cooking for the gang. Palmer: Invited the whole crew over to his house to skate his pool and cooked everyone dinner! Too bad you couldn’t ride with us more. GI Joe: Thanks for showing us a bunch of different ditches and skateparks. It was good to finally see the TSR Skate School and Museum. Nice collection of old photos. Fadell: I missed your Jackie-Joyner Kersner exit out of Indian School, but you had your equipment dialed in for speed. See you on the podium again in April. C.Bara: Charged the ditches hard for your first time, paid your dues and kept rollin! Also took some excellent photos. James Roh: Made several skin donations without a complaint. Ethan: Pure talent, missed your cartwheels. Ryan EP: Most dialed in local at the new Giant skatepark, tore up that ¾ pipe! Joe, Kyle MacClaren; Getting faster as always! Joe had a new over the pipe ride Sunday morning. Thanks for the endless shuttles Casey. Jessie: Shuttled the crew all morning on her time off, thanks! DT: Passed me going Mach 3 in 3 mile only to do a belly flop exit-classic! Robyn & Ryder: Didn’t get to spend too much time with you guys, I’ll see you in July
Photo: Bara If you’re racing next month, you should have been there! L8-GEO

Well I made it to San Diego. I got in last night and all I have to say is that its crazy here. I've been twice before but not in this area. Its very hilly, congested, and everyone drives 20mph over the speed limit. But it still kicks ass. Wish me luck on finding an apartment.

im not sure but by the looks of it this section is for banks. well ive always wanted to skate a drainage ditch. i have skated school yard banks but thats just a single bank not a ditch. so is there any good spots in socallike really good drainage ditches. i know theres el derado park in long beach but those a too massive but i have seen some right next to it that are way smaller but look fun to skate. so please let me know of spot.
thanks

Damn, Kenny. Cool stuff, as always. Maybe I'll make it out there someday. Bara, how's the shoulder? It's good to see you back on a board. You too, Kenny, you friggin' force of Nature.
Mostly sunny and 75 predicted for STL tomorrow. No snow or surf like Wahl, but I'm going downhillin' in the early afternoon and garage riding at night. Maybe I'll hit a park in the a.m. for my own trifecta.

Day 4 was the Sunday and most took off then. We had one last Sunday morning session that was epic.

It was sad to see the boys leave, but we had some snowboarding to do up north.

Day 5 found us 3 hours north of Albuquerque in Angelfire, New Mexico. It did not look too good when we drove up. There was mud on the front of the mountain and it was raining a little. Robin got in an hour or so before the rain and said it was nice.
The next day it was a classic Bluebird day with 60 degree temps. Ethan's first time on a real mountain and he shredded like a pro. We first hit the hardest run on the mountain and then the terrain park, which he killed.

Ethan was loving the jumps, which he hadn't hit all year. He was just flying and the best of anyone in the park - even the locals!!!
He landed this one down at the condo !!!!

My knee had been feeling pretty good on the trip, and I was wondering if it could handle some air. I haven't caught any since 2003, and since it was the last day, I said "what the huck". And did. It felt so good to take a chance. It was a great trip and we'll do it again.

I'm stoked for ya! I've been trying to think of some way similar to celebrate my 40th in May. Don't think I could skate/surf/board in Texas all in one day but I could do 2 out of the 3. I may try to hit 40 skate spots that day or something like that. Anyway, that is rad what you pulled off.
