If you got any Aussie vids hiding anywhere I'd love to see them. Do you know of any on the web? (besides the ones we got on our site already)

Ay the latest vid is definatelly an improvement. You could improve it even more by making it 2 minutes instead of 15 minutes long. yorned 5 times. Enough good stuff in there to make a 1 to 2 min fun piece. You claim that your own vids rock and that there the "best" Aussie vids. Says who. Also most skaters want to see vids of stuff that they cant do themselves. Just trying to help. I hope you take this advise and don't rip my head off like you do to anyone who says anything constructive about your vids.
At least it getting better. ish.

Yeah sorry for takin it a bit too personally as well Shnitz. I guess we can all be guilty of being a little too passionate about what we're doing. I agree about seeing similar looking videos but, I would rather watch them than the same old friggen kickflip or half pipe vid. Talk about a yawn fest.

i appreciate the praise. and i will release more goods when i get them. my point was i'm pretty picky about the footage i publicize. i'm allways game for a good flick. but i'm seeing more and more that suck. some i dont even fully watch. like the brazilians riding that same boring drafting road in every one of their movies. doing the same thing run after run. or a 5 minute flick of 1 corner at some race. gets boring. sorry boys.... dont mean no harm, just a little constructive critisizm. sick of the dirt boarders too, ha ha ha ha ha ha... now i'm getting out of hand....ha ha ha hindsight, i should have just kept my mouth shut. its all good, including free speech ;)
jogger, btw, i have seen probably ALL your flix and i'd say they're getting better. much better than the first one i saw of you boys just bombing some alley. get side by side with yer bros in some tight corners. film that. that's what i want to see.
and we have it all here in kimberley, everything you wish to ride. i'll get around to capturing it all someday. the sully is a fun road, not that fast overall but very technical. unpredictable pavement, 15% grades, 180 degree hairpins, guardrails, never ending supply of booze, pretty girls from all over, metal bands, some of the best riders in the world, and of course our sideshow, the coastlongboarding crew... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, just wouldnt be the same without them boys! been here since the beginning.
still waiting for my jvc cam from the repair shop... and it snowed today. guess no flick for this year. maybe get at er in the spring again..... sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet pow coming up!!!! looks like all that praying is paying off... ha ha ha, allways pray to the snow gods!
for now though check this one out. the young guns playing around last spring. high skewl project they put together.

right click on "sgs_0002.wmv" and choose "save target as"
i hadnt posted it yet cause i'd like it smaller. no time to reduce now. enjoy ;)

Hey Shnitzel this is copy and pasted directly from Old Skool Team International Videos page. We've had it up for a few weeks now. I guess being cool gets you no-where these days.
Dose of Adrenaline - Canada (22.5MB): The guys from The Northern Underground Adrenaline Circuit (NUAC) make some of the best videos you'll see.
Jakes Rash - Canada (18.7MB Quicktime): More wicked music and riding from the NUAC fellas.
Scabs In Wonderland - Canada (25.5MB): Nice video from the NUAC guys. Awesome location at a golf course.
Slow Motion - Canada (32.3MB): I absolutely dig this video. The music and footage is perfect.
SNFU + NUAC - Canada (11.7MB): The NUAC boys hook up with SNFU. Need I say more..?
The Sullivan Challenge 2002 - Canada (92.3MB): Complete footage from the Sully challenge '02.
The Sullivan Challenge 2004 - Canada (24.2MB Quicktime): A trailer for the Sully Challenge '04.

NOTE 2 EVERYONE, CHILL THE f#@! OUT!!! If you don't like it fair enough, no-one is forcing anyone (Clockwork orange style) to watch any of our stuff. I know that dudes disagree but some people acutally like our videos. I'm asuming that the guy posting under "Shnitzel" wasn't actually "Shnitzel" as he didn't leave his email. Everyone is entitled to thier opinion just like everyone can make thier own videos. I seriously can't understand why people are so negative about promotion of thier sport over there, and what they plan to achieve by being like this? You see over here we don't have Dowbhill racing DVD's in skate stores, we don't get Downhill racing stuff on TV, we don't have "official" races to show our sport to potential new-comers, we have about 3 websites and THATS IT. If you can't understand what we're trying to do, then sorry I can't help you.

come to the sully. but before you do you have much werk. some racers spend all day just trying to make one clean run. with no brakes of course. if yer not capable of this you have no reason to go race the worlds best in montreal.
dont mean to be negative. but i downloaded your movie at a rediculous speed, thanx ;), watched it once and deleted it.
keep at er, just quit filming 'till you have something to film..... or keep filming, and when your rich, famous and king of the downhill world you can release all that old footage in a documentary... ha ha ha ha ha ha ah aha ha ha...
i film a lot of crap too. i just dont waste everyones time with it.
sorry, hauled firewood all day, cranky... ha ha ha

Guess it's been about 4 months since I posted a video link here... so I'll post the latest from the CORE TOUR in Broadband and DialUp, and the link to see more I've not posted here.
HiSpeed Connection Huntington Beach Dial-Up Connection Huntington Beach
There are a couple double backflips in there by Jason Small, and some sick and twisted stuff by Leon Robbins and Jereme Leafe going 1-2. Akoni Kama took out a cameraman on the side... that is shown in slow-mo' and zoomed in to see. It was pretty sweet, y'all should try to make it out there next year for sure.
Link to see more HERE.

Who was that skater sliding in Gleaming the Cube?

On 9/13/2004 Cliff Coleman

David,
The sliding skater in Gleaming the Cube was Richie Dunlop. He also did the stunt sliding in "Thrashin". He originally moved out here from the East Coast in about 1982. He also is one of two skaters in the Powell video, "Future Primitive".
Rich was renting a room as was I in a Berkeley house at the bottom of Centenial road. Jim Cluggish also came out West at the time Rich did. I skate with Jim to this day. He is featured on the Gravityboard web-site, located on the video page. He is also featured on both the "Flow" and "Twenty to Life" videos.
Hope that answers your question David.

This is making me sad. Its like good guy's vs good guy's. Dont take it so badly. If you cant take critisism on the net then don't post. If they said way cool things then we'd all be happy. Lets get over the vids and website thing because its not relevant. The OST team are doing a good thing in there minds and thats good enough for me. Promoting downhill in Australia needs doing. Although this website has a good Asia/Pacific area that serve us very well already. Power to you OST. Stay focused. Move ahead. Its always hard to take bad critisism. But if you do then you win.

Ohh thats right we're all supposed to be real serious. No-one but OST has ever stacked before, No-one but OST has ever riden a board after a few beers before, Everyone ALLWAYS wears the right safety gear(except for OST of course) when riding. The only video you can make is at a "legal" race or road. We're all gotta have the same homoganised look and attitude and NEVER HAVE ANY FUN. Sorry we didn't get the Downhill Skater rulebook, is there a picture version? And as far as the website the only reason we started it was to bring Aussie downhillers together and it's working just fine. Keep paying us out it just makes more people come to our site(and the sponsors love that, "Dissapoited"). We never claimed to be the best riders or website builders (sorry Rynox) in the world, but there just wasn't a website that showed the level of riding that new-comers might identify with. Some of our vids are pure crap, but we've been trying our guts out with bad equipment for years and we're trying to raise our standards. Anyway thanks for talking about us, better than talkin about politics or something

No cut against Aussies. Dinks come in all nationalities. In fact I think the U.S. runs second in Dinks per capita. (right behind the Italians. Plenty of Dinks there). Lithuania has plenty of Dinks too but that's another story.
