RipTide Sports in introducing a new line of bushings. We have subsequently determined that that anything below 60a is ineffective for the desired application. A 22 kg child can easily turn the 60a so that is the lowest durometer we are offering. The current range we are producing is 60a, 62.5a, 65a, 67,5a, 70a, 75a, 80a, 85a, 90a and 95a in barrels. Our next shape is a "fat boy" or "chubby", then cones. We also are introducing a compound specifically for slalom, LDP any other style that requires fast transitions that low friction called "WFB™" or "World's Fastest Bushings™".
When tested by a multiyear world champion slalom racer, he said:
"Awesome formula. Nice to have the hangers snapping back without oil -- eliminates that slight micro hang up before the initiation of a turn - and tons of maintenance/attention. They are slightly narrower than some others and therefore fit nicely into certain hangers and cup washers.
For slalom truck and other trucks that utilize centrifugal bearings - a bushing with a bearings seat has been necessary. I often cut one into choice bushings myself with a razor blade. I will try the WFBs stock for slalom and see if it is still necessary. May not be needed if the bushing will depress enough and allow the bearing to slide across the top instead of digging in. In my GOG slalom trucks, so far it feels like the WFB bushing hangs up/lags way less than its standard counterpart. In other words, There is less hang up/lag across the hanger bearing as compared to other barrels without a bearing seat.”
As for durability, our proprietary compounds will elongate at least 800%. If you recall an earlier post, we took the 45a bushing in a fixture and rotated it 1800 degrees or five full rotations and we still did not find the materials breaking point! Available soon at www.riptidesports.com

We are driving our car because the RV wasa not out of the shop in time to take to the Texas Sizzler. I will have trucks, some wheels and boards for sale with me in Texas, it will be limited because I do not have as much room in my car.

Hey all I am Dylan and I am out of Black Diamond Wa. I am making longboards under the name Alpinelongboards. The boards are built to what you want on top of our models. If you want certain colors or other options let use know.
Our boards are all made with high quality baltic birch that is pressed in a vacuum press with only 1 to boards in it at a time to insure quality. The boards also feature a epoxyed bottom which leaves a amazing smooth surface and extra protection for the board. Also the boards come with a choice of red, black or blue dye on the bottom. If you want another color such as green or purple let me know and it will be a extra $5. Our boards also have a 50day structural warranty. For example if you throw your board of the space needle and it breaks I will not cover that. If you crash your board into a curb and the nose gets smashed a little I will not cover that. Say you are riding your board within the warranty and the board snaps I will for sure cover that. All warranty issues will be judged case by case. Say after a while of riding a Alpinelongboard and it breaks or whatever and it is past warranty. If you buy another board and send that board back you will save $15 of the board you are buying from us.

The Rainier is a board that was built with speed and having fun in mind. It features 5 plys of baltic birch. It is only made top mounted.

Length:10 1/2 inches
Wheel Base: 31 inches
Concave: 1/2 inches

Starting at $65 for 1 color of dye on bottom
$70 for 2 colors on bottom

The latest news is that I'm expecting 2 of each design to be delivered early this week for trials and testing. If they pass the test, they should be up for sale very soon.
Due to the manufacture process, I should be able to change the design very easily. I'll be able to do custom designs also; any shape you want, any size, any grip pattern and the option to have your name moulded into it, or your favourite skate forum???
