This is the second of three (3) contests that make up the Deathbox Mid-Atlantic Pool and Bowl Championship Series.

The series is open to skateboarders of all ages and skill levels

Proceeds got to Surfrider Foundation DC Chapter

Allian Snowboards for all Series Class Champions!

Additional awards include boards, wheels, trucks, bearings, hardware, clothing, stickers, skatepark passes, and more

Event # 2: 14 June 2003: Van’s Potomac, located in Potomac Mills Mall, Woodbridge, Virginia
10 and under skate the shallow pool, all other classes will compete in the deep pool

Riders meeting 12:30 pm
Competition starts at 1:00 pm
Awards ceremony immediately after last competitive session

Event # 3: 28 June 2003 (rain date 29 June 2003): St. Mary’s County Skatepark, Lexington Park, Maryland (interconnected pool/minis/vert area, not including clover bowl)
This event is co-sponsored by St. Mary’s County Skatepark
Registration: morning of event, 8:00 am to 10:00 am on site
Riders meeting 11:00am
Competition starts at 12:00 pm
Awards ceremony, including series champions, immediately after last session

Competitors must complete registration forms and liability waivers for each individual skatepark before they will be allowed to compete. Each skater must abide by the skatepark's rules for protective equipment

Any skater under 18 years of age must obtain parent or guardian’s signature on waiver form

Classes: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40+, Women

Series will use a Jam Session format. Each class will session for 2 minutes per skater (if a class has 10 skaters, they will session for 20 minutes). Judges will then choose the top 4 riders in each class.(It is virtually impossible to score accurately below 4th place using the jam session format).

Series Points System:
1st – 1000 2nd – 900 3rd – 800 4th – 750 all others - 500
