Contest Info: Come join the very first North Jersey Skate Jam. Along with Solid Foundation Skatepark we will provide a day of Flatland Tight Slalom. This is going to be some fast and tight skating, 25 cones long (about 160') with only 5.5 feet between cones. It will definately make for a challenging course.

TENTITIVE SCHEDULE:

9:00 - Registration/Setup
10:30 - Practice
10:50 - Racers Meeting
11:00 - Qualify
Race to begin right after qualifier approx. 12:30
Estimated completion of event 4:30


RULES:

25 cones 5.5 feet center to center.
.10 second penelty for each knocked cone
Automatic DQ after 5 knocked cones
Automatic DQ for any missed cones
Racers must be in on deck area one race before their number is called.
Any Racer not in on on the line when their number is called will have that race voided.
Maxiumum of 3 pushes for the push start, automatic DQ for more.
There will be 4 Judges, Starting, Line, Cone, and Finish.
Times will be reported by finish judge and posted on the board on site.

COURSE:

Start 20' from the first cone 25 5'5" OC cones finishline 5' from the last cone, start on either side.


Also, bring your trick boards and skate the street course next to the racing site, and the new 40' mini-ramp. Helmets are required by the park, additional padding recommended.


All skaters must sign waiver, skaters under 18 must have parent/guardian present to sign waiver.

All Proceeds will be donated to the Solid Foundation Skatepark (Non-Profit Free Skatepark)and The Hawthorne Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
