Contest Info: Team Fatboy and the NJDB Present the second annual NJ Outlaw Race! Why? Because it wouldn't be a race season unless you smelled Jersey at least once!

When: Sunday, June 3rd starting around 11am.

What: A fast hybrid down a nice sized hill and a "totally professional Downhill" (don't dig out your leathers though, its about a 35mph hill tops, think Shady Lane downhill)

We found a great new spot! Its a road! Its paved! and it even has guardrails to prevent Pro A class racers from trying to ride the grass and breaking themselves! Snazzy eh!

But:
THIS IS A TOTAL OUTLAW RACE. MEANING WE DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO BE THERE AND THERE IS A CHANCE OF GETTING THE BOOT. ALSO THERE'S A CHANCE OF GETTING HIT BY A CAR, FALLING INTO A LAKE, GETTING POISON IVY, HEMROIDS, LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS, OH MY!! RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

We have ridden there and waved to security as they drove by. Its in a remote location and with very little traffic that is more then managable. In fact, the road is sometimes gated off, its the access road to a ski slope that is closed for the summer. JUST IN CASE, WE DO HAVE A BACKUP LOCATION 20 MINUTES DOWN THE HIGHWAY.

PAVEMENT: 7-8/10.

The road has a nice uphill runout. No footbraking required. Here's some pics but they don't do it justice as the road has a slight curve, making it hard to photograph:

Now for the boring stuff: THIS IS AN OUTLAW EVENT! RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK! TEAM FATBOY, LONGBOARDS BY FATBOY INC., OR ANYONE HELPING WITH THE ORGANIZING OF THIS RACE ARE NOT TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES THAT MIGHT OCCUR. RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK! ALL SKATERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A HELMET! YOU CANNOT RACE WITHOUT A HELMET! FULL PADS ARE GREATLY INCOURGED! Oh, and did I mention-RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

And the Good stuff: PRIZES! Oh yeah, we got prizes, and let me tell you, Piskapoo's 50k ain't got nothing on these gems! 1st Prize- An Oven Mitt! And not just any oven mitt, one's thats been spraypainted on and crudley scribbled. Second Prize- Fatboy's Soiled Undies! That's right ladies, the fatman will de robe and give you his dainties complete with skid marks and sweat stains that he raced in all day. 3rd Prize- Crust staight from Joe I's beard!!! Prizes for 4th through 5th will be determined as soon as I make them up. Sign up soon, who knows what kind of drawing power these charished items may bring.

DIRECTIONS: Since this is actually an access road to a ski slope, you can get directions from all points right here, just follow the link: (copy and paste)
http://www.skicampgaw.com/directions.html
NOTE: Where it says to drive through the yellow gates, DON'T DRIVE THROUGH THE YELLOW GATES! Unless you want to run us over. The gates maybe closed anyway. Follow the road to the left, and park at the first parking area on your left, by the pavillion.
