Contest Info: BICKNELL "FULL MOON MADNESS" OUTLAW TS CHALLENGE!

THIS RACE WILL DETERMINE JUST WHO THE KING OF DOGTOWN'S FAMOUS BICKNELL HILL IS!!!

Who will it be? MAYSEY? RICHY? OR FLOYD? Or will ATTILA come out of an early retirement to kick everyone's ass? Will Jack Smith and Mike Gorman show us all how to run cleaner than a skeeter's peter...again? Will any other well-known TS specialists come out to put their money where their mouth is-for serious kudos and DT bragging rights?

This will be steep High-Speed TS at it's best - Step up, show yourselves, and bring your TS skills.

SPONSORS: (so far)

SKATERBUILT RACING, SMA SKATEBOARDS, KHIRO SKATEBOARD PRODUCTS, ROCKET'S BEARINGS, RIP CITY SKATES, Z SPORTS DISTRIBUTION, JUICE MAGAZINE, and CONCRETE WAVE MAGAZINE/TAILTAP.COM

This race is the second West Coast high-speed TS showdown of the year! Who will take the top honors? Who will win THE DINERO? Who will slam trying!? Race Starts at High Moon (9:00PM).

RACERS MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL (by the parking lot) AT 8:40PM. Sign-up is at 8:00PM - practice starts at 8:15pm , racing at 9:00PM sharp! (So, don't be late to your own race Floyd-hehehe). If you're planning on coming down, please sign up so that we have an idea as to how many people we can expect. We will need some people to help with the conecarnage to keep the flow moving. Every person who completes a run should wait until the next rider has completed his run before walking back up the hill (pick up cones and signal penalties!!!)

Sorry tough guys and fashion victims...BUT...Pads and Helmets ARE REQUIRED. Each rider will have 3 RUNS- 1/10 penalty/cone- 10th cone DQ's. PLEASE REMEMBER, this is a night race during the week (Thursday) so it is imperative we keep the noise level to a minimum (YEAH RIGHT!) We ask that every racer please hang out below the gate and not on the street as it will attract SM's finest and wonderful shave-armed flatfoots to shut us down right away.

In case it is an early bust, the racer's FIRST timed run up to that point will count as his final/best time. If he/ she hasn't had a run yet, he will get his entry fee back. We will be there at 7:00PM - any help would be appreciated!!!Get there early and maybe you can assist in setting the course or get some solid practice runs in.

The Course will be set by the 05’ World Tight Slalom Champion MIKE MAYSEY, Dogtown/SM/Venice local legend JESSE MARTINEZ, and TS wonderkind FLOYD REID himself-so be ready to go tight and FAST! At Olson's request-this course WILL NOT be a (GAY) straight 6 footer...it'll have some less-tight offsets and stinger sections to make it more user friendly...instead of deterring everyone with a sh*thard course...afterall, we don't want to make everyone hate tight slalom anymore than they already do-right?

The Race will be timed using SSS's Steve "The Professor" Evans' awesome timing system!

COURSE:
The pavement is smooth and grippy. Expect speeds of around 20 to 25 MPH! It will be a push-start, single-lane TS course w/offsets, stingers, and staight sections at SPEED!

Be prepared.
As most of you already know or have heard...
...Bicknell Hill is both Q-U-I-C-K and F-A-S-T!

WARNING:
This race will be very TIGHT, FAST, and GNARLY-and could be extremely hazardous to your health. Please DO NOT enter unless you have RACING skills and Safety Equipment -Specifically a helmet, knee/elbow pads and gloves.

You may want to make sure your Health Insurance is paid up and current. It is also recommended that you carry your Health Insurance I.D. Card with you at all times.

This is an OUTLAW race. We may get busted at this location. IF we do, your entry fee will be refunded. If any race gets busted-racers with fastest logged times up to that point in the race, will be determined the winners.

RACE FORMAT:
This race will be HIGH-SPEED TIGHT SLALOM at it’s best! The course will be FAST-but negotiable…definetly more user friendly than Attila's was when he hosted THE BICKNELL BLITZ in 04'... 25 to 30 cones will be set up somewhere between 6 and 7.5 feet!

ENTRY FEES:
Entry fee for this race will be $10.00 Limited to 50 Pro/Am Racers. AWARDS CEREMONY/AFTER PARTY TBA!!!

The First 25 Racers to sign up will be insured of competing.

To put your money and nads where your keyboard is...send PayPal payment of $10.00 to: info@skaterbuilt.com OR you may just show up and pay on the spot.

CASH AND PRIZES:
At this race, The winner (1st place finisher with the fastest time) takes all! So, 1st place will be awarded Cash.

Prizes will be awarded to the top ten racers as well. The Winner and Podium Placers (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) will win KILLER Trophys, and Major Bragging Rights!

If you or your company would like to participate by providing product prizes, please contact Dave Hegstrom at: 562-431-2406/info@skaterbuilt.com

DIRECTIONS:
405 to 10 FWY WEST, EXIT @ 4TH/5TH STREET TURN LEFT, GO TO PICO AND TURN RIGHT, GO TO OCEAN AND TURN LEFT, GO TO BICKNELL AND TURN RIGHT, FIND PARKING AND HEAD TOWARDS THE GATE

BE A PART OF SLALOM HISTORY! SIGN UP AND BE READY TO RUN FAST, CLEAN, AND TIGHT!

Skate Safe.
1st Place Finisher: Mike Maysey
2nd Place Finisher: David Carrasco
3rd Place Finisher: Tim Kinietz
