Each race will be Jam format with a 2 hour window to get as many runs in as you can. The longboard slalom will have long sweeping gates and will be easy to make on any board. The skateboard slalom will be a fast and fun gs/hybrid that is makable for novices but still offers excitement for the more experienced racers.

The goal of this series is two-fold. One is to transform a few of our normal practice sessions into more of a race day environment, thereby hopefully adding to the fun and excitement. The second is an effort to draw some new blood into the sport of slalom skateboarding. This is the motivation behind the longboard slalom event and the racer classifications. The Novice class is intended for racers in their first season. If you have prior racing experience as either a pro or open class racer, you will be expected to step up and race in the Advanced class in the HPD Outlaw Series.

Keep in mind this event is OUTLAW! There is a very small possibility of a bust. We have had the cops drive by many times and wave to us and drive on. In very few instances the have booted us. If that happens on race day we will move to an alternate location. Full pads very much encouraged, helmets REQUIRED!

The plan is to have approximately one Series race per month for the 2006 season. Future races will be held at various locations in the greater Denver area. So come on out and git yer race on!!!!!
