Atlanta Longboard Club pushes for Board Rescue

Skateboarders join together to push 20 miles for fun and to benefit Board Rescue



PALO ALTO, Calif. (July 29, 2009)

In the current economic state it has become more difficult to raise money for non-profits. Board Rescue is pleased to have the Atlanta Long Board Club volunteering to donate 100% of the proceeds from its annual Silver Comet Charity Push, a 20-mile push through Atlanta scheduled for August 1.

Regarding the proceeds; Chad Hall from Atlanta Longboard Club said "Get some little kids on some longboards
man! Whatever you get them on, I know they will see alot of happiness from it."

Having organization like ALC commit to support Board Rescue's mission is crucial to our success, "We would like to thank all the riders that are heading out to this event and making a donation to Board Rescue, have a safe and fun ride" said Gary Holl President of Board Rescue.
