Here are the three historical boards from the 70', from historical skateboarders:
Warptail two Stacy PERALTA (ACS 580, PARK RIDER 4)
ALVA 30' (ACS 580, green KRYPTO 65mm)
ZFLEX Jay....Hu! Jimmy PLUMER!
well, yes, I know, I should have the Jay ADAMS model, but, well, I didn't had the choice when I found this board, and I'm so proud to have this NOS never drilled board.... More than this, I REALY like very much Jimmy PLUMER!

With some patience and the right color paint, you could do a restoration of the blue Alva logo. The green Kryptonics wheels on that complete look like they were not skated much!

well, I don't know for the ALVA restoration. sometimes, I do restoration, sometimes not. I like boards "dans leur jus" as we say in french, something I could translate by "in original use"?
I think If I restore the blue logo, then I should restore the die cut grip, and also the board. I realy dont know....

even touching up that logo, or the tape, would completely destroy any value for that Alva....it would be as cheap as a home made fake....seriously....the scuff on the logo doesnt bring the value much lower than any other ridden one without the scuff....i wouldnt touch it

Other than pulling those ACS's and putting on some trackers....Alvas should have only trackers...

Tony rode Lazer trucks after he got tired of being ignored by the Tracker team manager, then he got sponsored by Independent and has ridden Indy's ever since. Not sure what year TA got on team Indy. There are pictures of Tony riding bowls on his prototype Alva deck with blue bottom and yellow Alva logo, and he is riding Lazers.

I agree with you, I prefer do not restore this board.
for the trackers, yes, I agree with you to! and it would be great to have trackers or lazers to put on it. But, here, in europe, I don't know why, it's as difficult to find LAZERS or TRACKERS trucks than it's easy to find ACS. maybe in the 70', ACS was more agressive sellers than the other companys.
I didn't know ALVA rode for INDY. tonight, I'll re-read BUILT TO GRIND.....
P.S: it's a big thing for me to have this ALVA board. When I started skateboarding, in 1977, he was my idol, and he is still my favorite skater 30 years later.
