Texas Cold Fusion Sizzler 71 Registered Contestants. Event Date and Time: Saturday, March 28, 2009  00:00 Event Duration: March 28th and 29th Location: Austin,Texas, Marble Falls Entry: Open Helmets: Mandatory Divisions: A Open B Open C Open D Masters Organizer: Texas Outlaws Map: Entry Fee: 80$ slalom events and DH. DH only 50$ Contest Info: This is a MAIN STATUS RACE. Get ready to Sizzle again kids. Come on down to Texas and race with your friends. Directions to the hotel and hills will be posted this week. The events will consist of GS on Saturday Practice starts at 9:00 am and at 10:30am racers meeting at 11:15 and racing to start right after. This will be a single lane Jam style race and A,& B and Masters. we will race until all racers have had at least two runs in each class. After that we tear down and get ready to run the speedtrap, time permitting we will attempt to run 4 man heats. Will Ken Molica defend that is the question. Sunday,we head to Marble Falls and run Hybrid. Practice starts at 10:am racers meeting at 11:am and racing to start right after. We will be running Qualifying and then head to head racing. Tight on Sunday will be run with time permitting. Ceremony and awards dinner to follow. Pete the Cuban Missile will be in charge of hooking up the restaurant. Muy Caliente mi amigo. Both Races will run A,B,C & D and Master class, if we have enough woman and juniors 4 will be the magic number and a junior is someone 15 or under we will run those classes as well. We will be using a TrakMate timer with false start detection and Ricky Bryd style start ramps. All participants must were safety gear consisting of at least a helmet elbow and knee-pads. 6 wheelers will not be allowed at this race. Hotel Accomadations are being negotiated and should be up by this week. Trying to get a good deal for all of us. Will post directions to the hill this week as well.
