The Vancouver Vixen 42 Registered Contestants. Event Date and Time: Sunday, November 09, 2008  09:00 Event Duration: 1 day Location: Starting line will be the Greenway Parking lot at the end of NE 65th Ave. Vancouver WA. Entry: Open Helmets: Optional Organizer: cskate & the Eskimo Man Map: Click here for online map Entry Fee: Free Contest Info: She's a fickle mistress that Vancouver Vixen. A lady that's equally at home buying smokes with food stamps or renting up some movies at McDonalds. Just like any good woman she's going to take you on some up's and down's and some rough parts, so be ready for that. Since we are doing this race late in the year and the weather will be unpredictable the course will be 14.8 miles if she holds up and 7.4 miles if she decides to piss rain and wind all over us. The after sess is TBA after the race. THIS IS A GUERRILLA RACE! The Vixen is the woman your cheating on your wife with, that means that the course will not be announced until the beginning of the race. We will be sharing the course with pedestrians who have no idea what's coming at them so pedestrian safety is the main thing here. The course is pretty mellow so helmets are not going to be enforced. HOWEVER, Vancouver city law states that any wheeled vehicle operated within city limits requires a helmet be worn. So you can make your own decision about wearing one or not. The organizers of this race are not responsible for your actions and will disavow all knowledge if asked. So come on over to the North Shore and give the lady a run, please try and register early so we can try and have a race shirt in your size. *RIDER ALERT* I just ran the course this morning (thurs) and there's lots of debris in the wooded areas which is most of the run. We are also expecting a good amount of rain this weekend including Sunday, so there's going to be lots of wet leaves and pine needles and such and on some downhill corners that are going to make it very interesting. I would advise using rain wheels if you have them also helmets and knee pads might not be a bad idea either. Slide gloves probably aren't going to help you much so I wouldn't bother with them. This could be the gnarliest push race yet.
