A Skateboard Slalom event

Brought to you by Sk8city and The Ottawa Sk8park

Come and enkoy some fine Slalom racing in the Nations Capital on our Birthday.

Canada Day in Ottawa, Ontario Canada

Hotel lodgings - two beds at $109.00 per room for 4 people. Travelodge, 1-800-578-7878, 1376 Carling ave. Ottawa.

Dovercourt is stepping up to the plate and getting the road closed for us. A stumbling block that had caused us to ponder not running an event this year.

Dovercourt is Model Model Community Centre operation and they are running Skateboard Camps in conjunction with our own coaching programs.

They have also agreed to provide lodgings if necessary. so please contact us ASAP.

Apparently we have some e-mail issues so please call us at 613-798-7275 if you do not receive a reply within a few hours (except overnight.

The racing will run from 9:00 am till 2:00 pm. We are trying to arrange for a swim in the community centre. We could go to another location and run a long hybrid single course if you would like.

We have just spoke to a Boat company and could get a boat Cruise for $20.00 per person (from 4pm till 7pm)

Then have dinner and walk to watch the Canada Day Fireworks Display.

For more info please contact us at sk8park@bellnet.ca or 613-798-7275

Come on up for Many Happy Pumps, EH!

We are going to work on getting a timing system for the event.

Sponsors for the event so far are The Dovervourt Community Centre, The Ottawa Sk8park, Sk8city and Kebbek Racing. Labbatt's Blue/Blue Light and Absolute Cut Coolers. And they did. Showers provided by the Sk8 Gods!

Thank you for your support.
