I hope to get down for a wiggle with you guys sometime. Maybe we could get a couple of car loads together and go for a wiggle and a bit of Cuckfield on the way home?

Cheers

Pig City Update
On 5/15/2011 1848 wrote in from United Kingdom  (82.24.nnn.nnn)

We have been running regular sessions at Hove Park over the past few weeks.
The surface is great and although not able to run two courses alongside each other (as we would do by the lawns)we are having a great time there. We are skating a mild slope where we have marked a nice challenging hybrid course which is keeping everyone entertained. This morning we setup a 50+ cones straight course which had us working our stamina (and panting).
It would be great to see some of you LSD boys down here sometimes (so we can measure our efforts) before the European rush; we kate Friday Evenings from 1700 and Sunday mornings from 1000 to 1300.

STOP PRESS! Hold fire on Crystal Palace for an hour or so - it has clouded over and there is rain in the air here (Cheam) just a few miles down the road. It may be a non starter?

Skating Today At Crystal Palace
On 5/13/2011 RobA wrote in from United Kingdom  (81.159.nnn.nnn)

I will also be at CP on Saturday with Pat & co from 12pm.

To our Spanish friend please check out the "Where to Skate" Section on the UKSSA website (www.ukslalomskateboarding.com) You can catch a train to Crystal Palace Park from London Victoria Station. When the weather is good Hyde Park gets very busy so we favour Crystal Palace .....and it is on a slope - Hyde Park is flat!

Cheers

The missus wants to watching the royal wedding. This gives me chance to get out the house.
Anyone else up for a skate from 9-10 tomorrow? I'm thinking of avoiding HP. What about Crystal Palace? Any other ideas?

Snow sounds amazing, Paul. We're really not a bit jealous.
Anyone going to HP this evening? Kate Middleton said she might head on over for a quick skate before tumbling into The Grandmother-In-Laws's Arms.

Yesterday (26th April) Snowbird set an all time single season snowfall record, eclipsing the 688" mark of 1983/84! That's 57 feet of snow this season. Today, we celebrate with 15" of powder and blue skies.Haven't been skateboarding this year - looking forward to riding the hard road again. Hope you are all skating lots - is there a wedding going on over there?
I am going to the St. Louis race at the end of May - there are some cheap flights from the UK at the moment...
