Dang, I'm on-call all morning then work all afternoon and evening for XMas xray-ing people's boo-boo's and sicky-sick chest and abd xrays, but at least we're supposed to have some nice dry sunny weather (but cold) the day after so break out the cones and Ride!!!

Happy New Year-n-stuff too - P

So in 2001, LaCosta was happening. For those who were there thank you, for those who are no longer with us, rest in peace.

Keep skating when you can.

How Fast??
On 11/19/2016 PSR wrote in from United States  (65.96.nnn.nnn)

No one else is 'here' to put in, so, heck, I'll at least make a note of it...
JOE McLAREN is the FASTEST Yet on a 100 cone, even-set racecourse! 19.38 Seconds, a new World's Record! And, as I've noted before, this is faster than 5-cones-per-second, Way quicker at the feet than current FIS Slalom Skiers are turning!!
Nice footwork,Joe!

Huge "Thank You!!" to Dr. Dan for the cones, BBQ, and hospitality! I had great fun trying to put my old Turner, and then Roe S-Camber thru Glenn's courses. He doesn't make it too easy! Dave, Lindsey, and Terry also were great to have around, and I loved catching up their activities since the last time[s] I had seen them. Scary thing, though; I had been there with my twins (then, not yet two Yrs. old), and Dan found an old photo of us all there. I was on the exact same Turner, 8 yrs ago!! Well, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Salem Slalom BBQ Menu change,,,,,,
On 6/2/2016 Your Mom wrote in from (50.206.nnn.nnn)

Hey, Due to the high temp predicted on Sunday (95-99 deg F !!! Yikes!!!), I'm probably going to order and bring a bunch of nice cool subs rather than fire up and stand around a hot BBQ half the day.

Bring a LOT of water and some electrolytes!!!!!

Whatever PSR is writing about?
On 5/28/2016 Pauliwog wrote in from (50.206.nnn.nnn)

PSR - Hey! Ummm, if you mean the "Salem" BBQ (not Portland), it's on both the NCDSA and Slalomskateboarder calenders. And nope, I and my event are still in Oregon(I actually live in Corvallis), and hopefully on a dry weekend this year. I may be driving through Utah later this year on my way back to visit family in Wyoming and meeting up with some friends in SLC and Logan.

Did you move it to Utah to dodge the inevitable wet stuff? If not, I hope you get the dry warm kinda weather you deserve!

Kingpins
On 3/19/2016 PSR wrote in from United States  (65.96.nnn.nnn)

Nice Keith!! Radikals rock, and these trucks deserve support.

Keep in mind the DH raceboarders out there that need KP's that are better than Chinese stock... this doesn't apply to those needing Radikal hi-tech king-bolts, btw, only those tweaking crap from Asia that ain't quite right, which may be up to 50% of the RKP users by now? I've seen a few other-than-US-made cheapos snap off at the kingpin, though, that might not be your market. After all, these guys don't actually TURN all that much... ;-)
